By installing or using the CustomPix app (“the App”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.
1. Overview
CustomPix is a Shopify app that allows merchants to assign and manage custom product images for use in Meta (Facebook and Instagram) product catalogs.
These Terms govern your use of the App and form a legal agreement between you and the developer of the App (“we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Account & Access
To use the App, you must:
- Have an active Shopify store
- Install the App through the Shopify App Store
- Grant the necessary API permissions for product and shop access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and access to the App.
3. App Functionality
The App allows you to:
- Create and manage image catalogs for product feeds
- Assign custom images to products and variants
- Design dynamic templates with price, discount, and badge overlays
- Generate feed URLs for use in Meta Commerce Manager
The accuracy, completeness, and compliance of product data submitted to third-party platforms (like Meta) remain your responsibility.
4. Fees & Billing
The App is offered on a subscription basis. Current plans and pricing are listed on the Shopify App Store listing and on our website, and may be updated from time to time. As of this writing, plans are tiered by product variant count:
- Pro – $19/month for up to 1,000 product variants
- Pro 10k – $39/month for up to 10,000 product variants
- Pro 50k – $89/month for up to 50,000 product variants
All plans include a 7-day free trial. All charges are billed and processed through Shopify’s billing system in accordance with Shopify’s billing terms. We do not directly process or store your payment card details.
If your product variant count exceeds your plan’s limit, you may be required to upgrade to a higher tier to continue using the App’s full functionality. We reserve the right to change pricing or plan structures, with reasonable notice provided via email or in-app notification before changes take effect.
5. Cancellation & Uninstallation
You may uninstall the App at any time via your Shopify admin. Uninstalling cancels your subscription; you will not be billed for subsequent billing periods, and Shopify’s standard billing terms govern any proration or refund of the current period.
App-related data will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days of uninstallation. Some metafields may remain in your store and can be manually removed.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious or illegal content
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the App
Violation of these terms may result in termination of your access to the App, without refund of unused subscription fees except where required by law.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- All features will function under all conditions or configurations
- Data (e.g. image assignments or catalog output) will be accurate or accepted by third-party platforms like Meta
Use of the App is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Bugs, errors, or service interruptions
- Damages caused by incorrect or incompatible feed configurations
- Data loss, business interruption, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us for the App in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. If material changes are made, we will notify users via email or in-app. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
