By installing or using the CustomPix app („the App“), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions („Terms of Service“). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

1. Overview

CustomPix is a Shopify app that allows merchants to assign and manage custom product images for use in Meta (Facebook and Instagram) product catalogs.

These Terms govern your use of the App and form a legal agreement between you and the developer of the App („we“, „us“, „our“).

2. Account & Access

To use the App, you must:

  • Have an active Shopify store
  • Install the App through the Shopify App Store
  • Grant the necessary API permissions for product and metafield access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and access to the App.

3. App Functionality

The App allows you to:

  • Create and manage image catalogs for product feeds
  • Assign custom images to products and variants
  • Generate feed URLs for use in Meta Commerce Manager

The accuracy, completeness, and compliance of product data submitted to third-party platforms (like Meta) remain your responsibility.

4. Fees & Billing

The App is completely free to use.
There are no charges, subscriptions, or billing requirements.

5. Cancellation & Uninstallation

You may uninstall the App at any time via your Shopify admin. App-related data will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days.

Some metafields may remain in your store and can be manually removed.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious or illegal content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the App

Violation of these terms may result in termination of your access to the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • All features will function under all conditions or configurations
  • Data (e.g. image assignments or catalog output) will be accurate or accepted by third-party platforms like Meta

Use of the App is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Bugs, errors, or service interruptions
  • Damages caused by incorrect or incompatible feed configurations
  • Data loss, business interruption, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages

You agree that our total liability is limited to €0, as the App is currently provided free of charge.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. If material changes are made, we will notify users via email or in-app. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
