CustomPix („the App“) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify store.

1. Personal Information We Collect

When you install the App, we automatically gain access to certain types of information from your Shopify store via the Shopify Admin API, including:

  • Store name and domain
  • Shopify store ID
  • Your email address
  • Product and product variant data
  • App-related settings and metafields

We do not collect customer order data or personal customer information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and provide the App’s core functionality
  • Allow you to assign and manage custom images for your Meta product catalog
  • Store catalog settings or preferences (e.g. metafields)
  • Communicate with you for support or important updates

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not share your information with third parties, except as required to:

  • Provide the service (e.g. our cloud hosting provider)
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell or rent your data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your app-related data (catalog settings, metafields, preferences) for as long as your store has the App installed.

If you uninstall the App, all associated App data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days. Some metafields may remain in your Shopify store and can be manually removed.

5. Your Rights

If you are a resident of the EU or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can do so by contacting us at support@custom-pix.com.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to protect your data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
